Free will is of most importance to our spirit or soul as we send ourselves into this physical environment to create and experience without impediment.
If the soul purpose of life (play on words, smile) is to experience all the soul wishes to experience, letting others violate our free will either voluntarily or involuntarily, is counter productive to our entire reason for existing in this physical body.
To crush and suppress our free will is a tremendous devastating blow to the soul who only desires to create experiences it wishes to have.
We must all run free including all our animals.
