Every poem began beside one of my paintings.

leaving these illustrations free to become their
own visual interpretation of the words.
A poem can stand beautifully on its own, but
illustration gives it another voice.
Words become images, imagination becomes
visible, and the heart of the poem takes on a life
all its own.
Together, poetry and art invite us not only to read
a moment, but to step inside it.
Whether whimsical, contemplative, or touched by
the mystical, each poem is an invitation to pause,
wonder, smile, and wander through a world
where words and images meet.
