Getting In on The Ground Level By Buying an Artist Poised To Emerge As Very Valuable

Desert Sunset Vanquished Sun - Mitro  16" by 20"
Getting in on the ground level of an artist's art before it's value skyrockets is essential to making a huge profit in the art market.
Like stocks and bonds it is essential to keep one's ear to the ground to buy that art before it's price goes through the roof.
The biggest money pay off goes to the one who see's the value in the little known name. Much like the movie star who starts an ingenue and salary price is cheap, only to explode into a super star with a salary in the 8 digits.
To buy a known name is good and safe but the price you pay will reflect that that one is already known.
To buy a name, that one says who is that, and to have that art explode in value, well that is the thrill that is the adrenalin rush.
That is the most profitable investment  you can ever make.

The Universe Talks to the World Though My Art or Things That Go Bump in the Night

As a firm believer in many planes of spiritual existence occurring simultaneously.
I am delighted to see images come up unbidden on each blank canvas I start.
Akin to automatic writing it is automatic painting.
I never know what image will come up until it comes up.
If one buys the theory that anything and everything is electrical vibration which I truly do, it stands to reason that a canvas magnetized with electrical energy for a specific painting would not only be possible but very probable.
For the canvas since it is physical, has to be vibrating electrical energy also.
Add into the mix a artist like myself that  truly believes and so truly allows, and you get psychic images every time you paint.
My work consists of smearing swiping and brushing various colors onto a white canvas and then inserting random slashes of lines with an oil stick, and then as the smears and swipes turn into identifiable images I can only conclude that the canvas is magnetized and holds onto paint in a pixel like way.
Some might say I am cheating that I am drawing, but I assure you I am absolutely not.
I believe that it is my release of control that allows chance.
By not purposely creating I am allowing the universe to paint the painting and with it's divine wisdom it creates exactly what it needs to create for ultimate meaning.
It is akin to the shuffling of tarot cards picked randomly and read but my paintings are more precise because the pictorial aspects are tailor made and each one unique.
I am always amazed myself when the images come up.

The Marriage of the Old Masters With Futuristic Art - Mitro
This particular painting I titled Marriage.
It is the marriage of the old and the new in Art.
The old a knight bridegroom with a Prince Valiant hair cut and a happy go lucky look on his face.
The new an alien bride with a pious sour look on her face as she appears to sacrifice herself to this     marriage.
The preacher is a beautiful purple horse of some sort seen on the left hand side of the painting.
If you look beside the couple you will see a candle lit for the marriage ceremony throwing light on   the union.
You will also see a wedding guest at the very bottom of the left hand side of the painting.
Most important of all if you look carefully at the bottom right hand side of the painting, right below the couple, you will see the future child of the marriage an animal curled in sleep and waiting to be born.
Look for his eye first and his shape should become apparent to you.
As it is set in a futuristic setting the future is absorbing the old and by the fusion of marriage, evolving into the now.

Sea Horse and Lion - Mitro

Sea horse and Lion is a perfect example of my magnetized canvas.
If you look at the bottom left of the painting you will see a very skillfully drawn lion complete with mane
On the right you will see a sea horse and a man in the very bottom of the right side.
I did not draw any of these images they all appear as I swipe paint and crayons indiscriminately across the blank canvas.
There appears to be in my paintings a transference of the energy stream of the scene presented onto the canvas, so my painting vibrate with the actual energy of the scene they present for viewing.

Is the Naked Female Form in Art a Terrible Cliche?

Is the naked female form in art a terrible cliche?
Every time I look at another artist's work and see paintings of naked women I groan.
Where are the naked men?
Perhaps this is why Michelangelo's David is so well received. He's one of a kind.
Michelangelo's David
But I digress I don't want to look at naked men either.
What I want to look at, is the soul and the spirit of the thing.
Perhaps that is why expressionism in art so appeals to to me.
What is the fascination with the naked body.
We all have one.
We have all seen many (most of us anyway).
There are only two phases to our existence.
One is life, where we possess a body that we can look at anytime we wish.
The other is our spiritual life after we pass when we have no physical body.
It makes more sense to admire the spiritual when we have a body.
And to admire naked paintings of bodies when we are in Heaven and don't have one.
Just sayin.

PS:If your looking for naked pictures this is not your site (Smile) I only paint the spirit and soul of the thing. I'm waiting till I get to Heaven to start painting the naked bodies.

Please Don't Leave Your Head Behind, Take it With You

Please Don't Leave Your Head Behind, Take it With You - Mitro  36" by 48"  $2,000,000

Don't leave your head is about the fact that although we might dance through our lives in complete ignorance of our true spiritual nature, as mind creates reality only through our thoughts we cannot leave our head behind it is forever and irrevocably attached to our reality.

This is truly an illusionistic painting.
By this I mean the image in the painting changes whenever the viewer changes their distance from the canvas or the angle they are viewing the painting from, even the height on the wall they view the painting at.
The basic painting is a man' s head separated from his torso in his hurry in life to get where he is going.
The head is tethered to the body with a fine string and encased in a balloon.
The head can be seen as a chipmunk head, a sugar glider head (viewed forward), or of  a Frenchman with a beret on or a Arabic man wearing a Keffiyeh (viewed backward)
The body can be seen as running with a tray, or from a different viewing perspective, as dancing.
From another perspective you can also see the body turn into a dancing Tasmanian Devil. Taz
When the size of the picture is shrunk small the leaf in the right top becomes 3D.
The symbol Om can be seen clearly in the head
Truly a very cool painting, if I do say so myself. And I do,smile

Archimedes and His Gift of Water

Archimedes and His Gift of Water  11" by 14"

Archimedes possessed so high a spirit, was so profound a soul, and such a  treasure of scientific knowledge, that though his inventions has obtained  the renown of more than human sagacity.
Through the medium of geometry, he was able to elucidate the principles for such basic devices as the pulley, the fulcrum and the lever
Among his many inventions were:
Burning mirrors with which he burned and sank enemy ships from a distance.
Water screws- a pulley system that pulled water upward for distribution now called the Archimedes Screw
One  story recounts how a perplexed King Hiero was unable to empty rainwater from the hull of one of his ships. The King called upon Archimedes for assistance. Archimedes' solution was to create a machine consisting of a hollow tube containing a spiral that could be turned by a handle at one end. When the lower end of the tube was placed into the hull and the handle turned, water was carried up the tube and out of the boat.
The Archimedes Screw is still used as a method of irrigation in developing countries.

An aside as all my paintings are not intended when I went to title this painting the word Archimedes popped into my head and I looked it up and lo and behold found all this information.
I took the brown blob on the left of the painting to be a boulder but the unusual part is the next morning I had the urge to paint thin yellow lines exactly like the ones pictured on the ball in the photo above even though I had not laid eyes on this photo up until then . I have not done it yet and I wonder if perhaps the brown ball is also a play on the head of Archimedes. I am letting the painting sit a bit before I decide.
I take the brown stick like thing in the bottom middle of the painting to be a combination of the lever he invented but also representing a sinking enemy ship.
The brown figures on top of it souls.
And the parrot to be representative of the tropics with it's abundance of water.

Kindness Over Empathy and Compassion

Truth - Mitro
Learning more about how we create our world around us and it comes to me that qualities that I thought were so great, compassion and empathy, might not be so great in creating our world around us.
Don't get me wrong I am not saying that the intrinsic quality of the emotion is wrong but what it creates in one's own life is not ideal.
A quote came to the me the other day and it was

                                What we think we project
What we feel we are - Mitro

Now keeping that quote in mind by empathizing and feeling one's pain and suffering are we not creating pain and suffering in our own life if what we feel is what we are.
Would it not be better as all the masters have done to just be kind and to keep ourselves separate from all negative emotions so we might be able to retain our positive self and continue helping those in need.
Thinking on it, how can it be helpful when one is dealing with such a negative emotion as lack to feel deeply the lack itself as one does in compassion and empathy.
Would that not just be saying the lack is justified to empathize and feel it with the sufferer.
That only would serve to strengthen it and to make it legitimate with the power of now two believing it.
Lack is not a true quality only abundance is truth.
Lack is pushing away what is there.
Abundance is letting all that is there flow to you.
So yes I am going to change my stance on compassion and empathy and say while the words may seem good in theory, in reality they are only serving to give vitality and worth to the unreal.
To be kind that is truth.

Chaos A Crucial Element For Spiritual Growth

Chaos A Crucial Element For Spiritual Growth - Mitro  11" by 14"  $50,000

Chaos is about the absolute essential need for chaos in growing.

If one is never pushed out of complacency one never becomes larger.
So the next time you find yourself cursing some bad event that has befallen you remember without hardship there is no advancement.
Looking at this painting you will see a red orb of creation energy already expanding into creation mode.
In the beginning this painting shows you just clashing colors but if you look closely you can see the beautiful picture it is already starting to form.

The Wisdom of the Ages

The Wisdom of the Ages - Mitro 11" by 14"  $50,000
The wisdom of the ages passed from generation to generation, but  only heeded or absorbed by those eager to learn.

Wisdom can only be gained through experience whether that experience is gained in this lifetime or a previous life is moot.
In this painting we see a large older duck to the right of the painting talking to his pupil a small green dinosaur sitting on a rock at the bottom center of the painting.
They are separated by a thick black line.
In a aside to all of us who wish to impart wisdom to the next generation let us teach not dry facts but exciting revelations through experience.

Jesus Preaches While Kittens Reign Down

Jesus Preaches While Kittens Reign Down  16" by 20"  $125,000
Jesus Preaches is about turning on the light to banish the darkness or soul staining of self flagellation, and by doing so being able to evolve spiritually to the next level.

If you look at the bottom right hand side of the painting you will see Jesus with his back turned to the viewer with arm outstretched and long aqua colored hair with a white swirl on the back of his robe, preaching to a red man dancing on the the left
The white swirl I take to be the holy spirit.
Above in the sky you will see kittens reigning down from the sky.
In the hem of Jesus's robe you will see a tiny perfectly formed cat sitting in the grass.
If you look at the red man you will also see an eye underneath his arm.
If you look closely at the painting there are many more to see.
It is a very complex image.

Crab

Sitting on the beach sipping Orangeade
I want to talk about politics but it seems to make the pounding
 waves feel small
The sun beats on my shoulder and face
and makes me feel warm and good
  I know things are good
I follow a crab on a short dive down his crab home
  I feel for the guy
who is the guy behind the crab mask
when people look at him they see food
the crab pops out again and looks at me
  trust takes time
  I carry on

New Painting in Progress - Alien Creator As a Small Child

Painting in Progress - Mitro
New painting in progress tentatively called Alien Creator As a Small Child
To the right side of the painting you see a large alien.
I call him a child as what he is creating are garden plants that grow toys.
Looking to the left at the plants you see a small yellow car growing ready to be harvested.
April 1, 2016 still working on it
In a more complete state of growth you see a light green toy animal that needs a little more growth time before the child can pluck it.
Alien Creator As a Small Child - Mitro

I have decided to continue with the progress of the painting by adding photos of it as it develops.

July 6, 2016  Painting still in progress

At this stage of the painting you can see a definite fish pop up in the center, a little girl or probably a doll all in yellow, and at the bottom left hand corner you see a face taking on more shape with what looks like a diving helmet with green rims around the eye.
Also at the top right of the painting you can see the Mama alien watching over her child with a purple face along with a red bodice and yellow skirt.

Press Release

Looking at the next wonder kid of the Art World. Who by the way is not a kid.

Daytona Beach Florida - Working her metaphysical magic on empty canvas she has created some of the most important art of the 21st century.
At 62 and counting her entree into the world of fine art is well timed for her art to receive the world wide recognition she is just starting to receive.
Painting in a style she calls "The universe talks to the world through my art, or things that go bump in the night," her art reflects her belief in many planes of spiritual existence occurring simultaneously, and she delights in seeing  images come up unbidden on each new canvas she starts.
Her paintings reflect an empty canvas magnetized with pixels of some ESP scene that comes to life through the channel of the artist.
