In Memoriam of My Brother John Mervyn Mitro

Spending the afternoon painting as I usually do, I finished a painting that I immediately fell in love with, and as I read it's meaning to myself the title also popped into my head "And They Laid The Dead to Rest".
I learned early the next morning that my brother Jack had passed away the night before at 11:09 pm of metastatic cancer and I knew then this was the meaning of my painting.
As close as my brother and I were as children as we grew older we moved further and further apart until it was the exception to talk rather than the norm.
I loved him very much.
He was my baby brother.
