living star clusters born 444 light years from Earth.
One glows in violet light and the other shines in blue-
white starlight. Though they orbit the same cosmic
destiny, they do not always agree. In their chamber of
white crystal and light, beneath a ceiling of living stars,
the younger sister turns away while the elder calls
after her. Their disagreement is ancient, yet so is their
love. On the wall hangs an abstract relic—a portrait of
their shared origin—reminding them that even when
they drift apart, they remain part of the same
constellation.
I apologize for the reversal of colors the sisters in the
second photo.
Of course the blue sister should have her arms
crossed and the violet sister is the one scolding.
