Art Accompanying Poetry

  The art accompanying the poetry in this book is all original art by Kathy Mitro.
  It is a new genre of Art called Soft Abstract Expressionism Art.
Soft is an offshoot of the original abstract expressionism art made famous by men like Wilhelm deKooning
  What make soft unique and different from the original abstract expressionism art, is that  it always contains joyful playful images in bright beautiful colors. Soft Abstract also always tells a story.
So it is the softness and the kindness and beautiful colors in the art which sets it apart from mainstream abstract expressionism.
Also it's purpose of telling a story in a block of single image.
